Of return of the university, the young person William Canfield finds his father owner of an old tub which sails on the Mississippi, Steamboat Bill. Canfield Senior would like well that his son it second in his work of navigation; but the young man fell in love with Kitty, the girl of the King banker, who precisely chartered a luxurious steamer competitor direct of that of Canfield. The attempts at Canfield of William to join Kitty are continuously thwarted by his father; until the day when the King banker Makes imprison this last. A cyclone, frequent occurs then in these areas. Cataclysm devastates the country. Canfield Junior saves Canfield Senior, Kitty and his/her father of the fury of the elements… and hastens to save Pasteur of the drowning to seal the reconciliation of the two families.
